Mango and Papaya Smoothies



Whether you call them batidas, liquados or smoothies, there's nothing quite as refreshing as a fruity, icy drink like these. (Photos/Betty Cortina)


Mango and Papaya Smoothies
1 cup fresh mango, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup fresh papaya, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 T condensed milk
1 cup whole milk
Juice of 1 lime
Pinch of salt
1 cup ice
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
