DEALS - JANUARY 18, 2013

A few tips as you go shopping/bargain hunt:

• Remember, it is a good practice to make your shopping list before you leave and stick to your list unless you find a steal.  I have developed of doing my shopping list.  In the past I would go shopping and come back home with all the items that I didn't need.
• Check you pantry while doing your shopping list; that way you won't duplicate items.
• Start collecting your coupons; it is not as difficult as some might want you to believe.  You can determine how much time you want to spend doing couponing.
• Check the coupon sites for coupons.
• Make sure you are really getting a deal before you purchase an item with coupon.  Sometimes you will need to compare the price of different brands for the same product.
• Check the coupon policy of the store you are shopping at; some store will only allow you to use 4 coupons for the same item.
• Start small and build you way up; trying to do too much couponing at the start will overwhelm you.
